About GVS

GVS is a unique supported employment program embedded within the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. GVS has been operating for 30 years providing integrated services to support youth and adults living with mental illness achieve meaningful employment or education

GVS is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Job Developers, Peer Support Workers, Psychologist, and Computer Instructor. A variety of evidence-based practices are used to foster vocational rehabilitation and recovery.

GVS uses an individualized approach providing a range of evidence based services based on the unique needs and goals of each client. GVS offers its services through two programs:
